I have just finished reading the article How To Be Led By the Spirit, and I can say it was the best thing in this area I have ever read.  It has helped me so much.  I now believe we have to spend some time alone with God and in His word and prayer to receive an answer for a direction or decision.  I never knew how before.  I heard all of the things you were talking about and would eventually just give up or go on struggling.  Thank you so very much.  I have much to learn I know.

I just wanted to take a second to show my appreciation for the article you wrote about masturbation that I found on the net.  I've been looking up articles for both sides to see what I could find and so far it seems that those in favor of masturbation (in the right context, ie. not while looking at pornography, etc) as not being a sin are the only ones who know how to write logical articles.  And I promise you I say that with no bias because I have been on both sides.

Dear Pastor Brown and family my husband and I have been attending Word of Life church for about a month.  The very first time I went to Word of Life I went by myself and at the end of the service you asked for those of us that needed prayer to go up front.  With out a doubt in my mind I rushed to the altar, and even before you prayed for me you looked me in the eye and said "Claudia I do not know you, but God does and you have been praying for a long time.  Well God has answered your prayers and wait for his response within weeks.  You have been longer in this situation than what God will take to answer your prayers."  By then tears were rolling down my eyes and I felt God's warmth embrace.  It was amazing.  Then you laid your hands over my head and started to pray for me. 

I came home with tears still in my eyes and I couldn't wait to tell my husband what had just happened.   I told him about my experience.  My husband told me, “You will not go by yourself again to church I will go with you next Sunday.” That was God answering one of my prayers Well next Sunday came and he went with me and the Lord touch him and he also went up to the altar and you prayed for him just like you prayed for me.  He also came home crying.  I was not aware of this but he told me he had been set free of the demons that were constantly attacking him.  This was a shock to me!!!  We are very happy and have not missed one of your Sunday services. We are so happy that we have shared this with every one we know and now another 13 more souls that I've invited are attending Word of Life too.

Thanks for your response regarding the role of woman in Pastoral functions. Your answer gave me a lot of light regarding the issue; I was attending Calvary Chapel but due to the issue of woman as Pastors and their negative to accept the facts I quit. I am looking for another church with a different view. Thanks again for your Bible answer. I'm sure the Lord direct me to your site to find Light,
