Sonia Brown
Short Biography
She’s
so sweet. Those are the first words that people use to
describe Sonia Brown. Raised in an army family she knows
discipline. She has used that same discipline as a soldier for
the Lord.
Born again at the young age of fourteen, Sonia
Blanco (her maiden name) received the call into the ministry at a
Kenneth Copeland meeting. Soon afterward, she became very active
in her church—ministering to children and the elderly. It
was at a nursing home that she met Tom Brown. Her life was never
going to be the same again.
She married Tom, and shortly afterward they
founded Word of Life Church in El Paso. Sonia, a mother of three, is active with her husband
as his associate pastor.
Appearing weekly on El Paso’s local,
top-rated Christian show, people have witness positive changes as
they have experienced Sonia’s unique teaching. Rarely does
her smile vanish when she ministers the Word of God. With her
background as High School cheerleader, she cheers on believers to
be everything God created them to be. Any group will be blessed
to experience the ministry of Sonia Brown. She usually travels at her
